I went into meltdown during my late 30s with a full-on career, trying to be the perfect Mum and taking care of a relative.... all whilst experiencing the 'full version' of perimenopause -
which I didn't know at the time.
I wanted to get back to 'being myself' and
feel energised as a parent to teenagers and not exhausted all the time.
I was suffering with anxiety, my emotions were all over the place and felt awful despite trying to eat healthily and exercise.
I decided to go all in and investigate what had happened
and why so many of my friends were feeling the same as me.
Why was I fighting off being prescribed anti-depressants to fix everything?
Apparently, I was 'too young' for it to be hormones
It turns out, it wasn't just stress and anxiety but the whole menopause transition sneaking up gradually until it felt like I didn't even know myself anymore.
Thank god there is more awareness now about this stage. It can be intense!

I pursued my mission for health and wellbeing as a career to help myself and women like you. I'm a live lab for all that I teach!
I'm now 48, post-menopausal and qualified as a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach with further qualifications in menopause health and weight loss led by a world leader in women's health, Dr Wendy Sweet.
With over 20 years of teaching and training experience it feels natural to share what I have learned and experienced with the people that most need it. I'm obsessed with creating unique and inspirational programmes and resources that deliver results.
Just in case you're curious about the real person
( I know I always am!) Here's a few snaps of me and my fitness buddy, Nala!
.
Our happy place is running through fields and splashing in rivers and we're blessed to be able to do that every day.
I run pretty slowly and love strength training.
Occasionally I sign up to races; usually pressured by my friend Vicky who 'buys me them as presents' and whose name I curse the whole way round!
But I do love a parkrun ....
as long as there's coffee afterwards!
I love yoga although I'm a lifelong beginner 😆 and one of my dream holidays is to one day go to India on a yoga retreat.
For now, campervan holidays and supporting my sons with college and university are at the top of my list!
Foundations First
This was the piece I was personally missing. I was doing 'all the things' except I didn't actually know what my changing body really needed. Creating a simple Foundations First Model that brings the whole puzzle of health together means that clients immediately understand the principles and how to apply them to their lives.
Beyond the hormones and looking at AGE!
Much of the mainstream focus on menopause is dominated by the hormones without factoring age-related changes. With so much illness in my own family amongst women I am laser focused on changing the legacy.
Creating Blueprints
A Blueprint is a simple guide based on up-to-date research into your changing needs during mid-life. You use it to simply adapt and upgrade your meals, movement and wellbeing vs following 'set plans'. A blueprint helps you to come back to simple nutrition and enjoyable habits that you create to suit you.
Being a 'Queenager'
This means:
Embracing this stage of life and making 'being healthy' a rewarding experience that puts your enjoyment at the top of the list.
Becoming wiser by 'unlearning' old habits that may no longer be serving you.
Giving yourself more grace and speaking to yourself more kindly and with full acceptance.
The reality is, this can be hard. I work at this every day! But having systems in place such as monthly and weekly check-ins makes these efforts non-negotiable.
Thank you for being here and if you're ready for your fresh start I'm here to help!
With love, Jasmine x
